What is Capoeira?

Capoeira is a unique blend of rhythm, movement, and history deeply rooted in Afro-Brazilian culture and its traditions. While incorporating elements of fight and defense, it stands out as a non-competitive game, promoting teamwork and understanding of the fight for freedom and resistance. Beyond that, it is an art form that uses intentional movement and music, which introduces participants to the beautiful Portuguese language and the tales it tells.
