Hi everyone and welcome to the Capoeira ParaTi blog! We’re delighted to have you here and hope to be a part of your journey in the exciting world of Capoeira, the expression of Afro-Brazilian popular culture that combines music, movement, and collective joy.

At Capoeira ParaTi, our mission is to offer you resources, tips, stories, and experiences related to Capoeira from an artistic and non-competitive perspective, through our courses, workshops, and our podcast “Endorfineando”. We want this space to be an inclusive and friendly community where everyone can share their knowledge, doubts, and achievements.

Through this blog and our different platforms, we’ll provide you with useful information and content such as:

  1. Courses: We invite you to participate in our online courses where you’ll learn about its history and culture, as well as ideas and resources to support you in its teaching. Additionally, you’ll discover new and different proposals to improve your practice.
  2. “Endorfineando” Podcast: Don’t miss our podcast, where we’ll talk about curiosities from Brazil’s history, its connection with music and where we’ll also have talks with capoeiristas, experts, and other special guests about topics related to its philosophy, health, and well-being.
  3. History and culture: We’ll explore the rich history and culture of Capoeira, from its origins in Brazil to its recognition as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
  4. Music and songs: You’ll learn about the traditional instruments of Capoeira, such as the berimbau, pandeiro, and atabaque, as well as the lyrics and meaning of the songs in Portuguese.
  5. Events and news: We’ll keep you informed about Capoeira events, workshops, and gatherings at local, national, and international levels.
